i just finished reading one moment by kristina mcbride. i received and ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
this was a really good book. it was a relatively quick read and once you get into it you’ll find it hard to put down.
the story centers around Maggie, our endearing protagonist, and her group of friends. they’re the quintessential group of best friends. 3 boys, 3 girls, all inseparable, with 2 of them romantically involved.
they have traditions, secrets, their “place”. we get to know about all of those things and the 6 of them after a tragic accident that leaves them seriously grieving for what is presumably the first time. The accident along with flashbacks and revealed secrets intertwine to bring a much different, less idyllic reality into the story line.
i could have actually read a few more chapters and was a little sad to see this story come to an end.
throw this book in your bag the next time you’re headed to the beach, or curl up on your couch with a blanket and get ready to lose all track of time and the world around you as you find yourself immersed in this twisty read!
4/5 stars from this girl!
